Lindy's specialty is supporting people working through addiction and substance use disorders — including food, pornography, sex and love, gaming, and gambling — as well as eating disorders and trauma recovery across combat PTSD, sexual abuse, physical abuse, and emotional abuse. She also works with clients re-entering civilian life after incarceration.
Lindy offers talk therapy and EMDR, and she works from humanistic, psychodynamic, and Jungian foundations, integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based, DBT, experiential, and interpersonal approaches. She believes many present-day patterns trace back to early experiences, and her work helps clients understand those roots, build new coping strategies, and move toward a more meaningful life.
Lindy works best with people who are curious about themselves, motivated to engage in their goals, and interested in deepening their connection with themselves in a grounded, fulfilling way.
She strives to create a nonjudgmental, supportive space that is both encouraging and appropriately challenging. Lindy believes clients hold their own answers, so she leans on thoughtful, reflective questions to help them reach deeper insight and self-understanding. In three words, her style is compassionate, collaborative, and exploratory.
Education, licensure, and clinical training that inform Lindy's work.
